Welcome to Hansen Inspection Services.
First a little about myself, my name is Walter (Rick) Hansen. I’ve been in the home remodeling business since 1975. I started with exterior contracting (roofing and siding), then I moved to framing, windows and doors, decks and room addition’s. For the last 10 years I’ve done mostly interior remodeling (kitchens, bathrooms, and basements). I’ve always done my own work in all these different trades (including plumbing and electrical) learning from skilled tradesmen and OTJ training. Also, I’ve been doing Home Inspections in New Jersey since the early 90′s.
Since moving to Florida I’ve taken the American Home Inspector’s Training (AHIT) Master course; including online, classroom and field training; and passed the National Home Inspector Examination (NHIE). Both of these are required by Florida for a Home Inspector license. I am a member of InterNACHI, the largest Home Inspector organization in the world, where I’ve continued my education (a never ending requirement for Home Inspector’s).
